UPDATE: I’m being told allegedly this item was a gun.
Apparently Conrad School had a child bring a weapon into the school on Tuesday. Apparently the child was apprehended and taken into custody.
I’ll try to find out more as I get the details.
It was a white male in the 8th Grade. Students originally thought that it was drugs but then word got out it was a weapon. They don’t know if it was a gun or not. Some students saw the kid being apprehended in the hallway as well as being restrained. The child was hauled away in handcuffs.
on a side note, apparently there were some 9th graders caught having sex in a stairwell that same day too.

I put you post link /info on Kilroy’s and one person commenting indicated gun. I don’t see anything in the new or communications from Conrad and I don’t want to yell gun.
I think the community has a right to know of these incidents. Conrad is Red Clay’s new jewel and surely they’ll want to keep it quiet. If true the district whould have put out a press release to keep the fact straight. However, they leave it us to us to do the fishing for the truth. Dumb on their part because fingers will point back to same oold Red Clay agendas.

Keep in mind this is the same school that has the girl that dated the bus driver. Which if you hear the latest as I have there is apparently not only the bus driver involved but the person that rides the bus with him.
